Which flat roof system lasts longest?
Fibreglass and rubber both outlast traditional felt and carry long guarantees. Felt is still a solid, lower cost option when it is a good quality torch on system. We recommend the best fit at the survey.
Can you fix a flat roof that keeps ponding?
Yes. Ponding usually means the falls are wrong. When we relay the roof we build in the correct falls so water drains to the outlet.
How much does a flat roof cost?
The price depends on the size of the roof, whether you go for felt, fibreglass or rubber, and whether the deck and insulation need replacing. We give you a free written quote with a fixed price before we start.
Can you insulate the flat roof at the same time?
Yes. When we strip a flat roof back we can add or upgrade the insulation to bring it up to a warm roof standard, which we will talk through at the survey.
